Background
“Innubilus” translates to “unclouded, clear” in Latin, and helping clients gain greater clarity has been the inspiration of Leland Barnecut’s 35-year career in human resources development. Innubilus Group began on September 11, 2001, when Leland witnessed the collapse of one of the World Trade Center towers from a street in Manhattan. It became immediately clear to him that we should all make our best contribution while we have the chance. He felt it was time to help people directly as a consultant rather than in his executive role, and he began plans for the firm that since 2001 has trained thousands worldwide.
Leland draws on worldwide experience and creative flexibility to meet a wide range of organizational needs. He has trained employees at all levels, in dozens of sectors, twenty-one countries, and three languages in management subjects. Leading organizations also rely on him for executive team development, strategy creation and planning, organizational change support, and program design. His decades-long partnerships include certified women and minority-owned businesses and a wide range of additional resources.
Leland was previously Senior Vice President of Global Leadership Development at DMB&B, Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, and Principal at Harbridge House Inc. His academic work includes BA and MA degrees from Stanford University, a year of post-graduate study at El Colegio de Mexico, and 18 months at Brazilian institutions including the University of Sao Paulo. He facilitates programs in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. During his student years he earned a full-year Rotary Foundation Scholarship and the Eagle Scout award, among other distinctions.
